Decorative expansion joints, a type of axial compensator, are special expansion elements designed to absorb and balance dimensional changes—such as elongation and contraction—caused by temperature variations in piping systems along the pipe axis. These compensators stand out not only for their technical function but also for their aesthetic appearance, making them a preferred choice in areas where architectural integrity must be maintained.
Piping systems are divided into different expansion zones to control the effects of thermal expansion. These zones are isolated from one another by fixed points to ensure system safety. As a result, movement in each expansion zone is confined to that specific area and absorbed by the axial compensator located within it.
Decorative expansion joints safely absorb these movements while offering a visually appealing solution. In this way, they effectively meet both engineering requirements and aesthetic expectations.

Applications
To absorb axial expansions, reduce stress and noise in the system, all machines, all motors, all pumps, industrial applications, exhaust applications, gas and water lines, drinking water lines, etc.
Paint Information
Flanges between DN 25–DN 300 are cadmium plated. For sizes DN 300 and above, specially painted flanges resistant to corrosion are used. It offers high durability and long-lasting use for industrial systems.
Special Note
If requested, the design temperature can be increased to +950°C. Contact us for special requests. Flange tables are in the technical tables section. Product weights have a tolerance of ±10%. Liner is recommended for abrasive fluids.
